Legal counsel (project finance)

Reporting to Head of Legal EMEA, and working closely with senior management EMEA region the candidate will:

- Provide legal support for the structuring, negotiation and execution of photovoltaic project financing transactions within the EMEA region, with an initial focus on projects in Italy and Spain.
- Advise on revolving credit facilities and other financings and related tax matters.
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to the construction, operation and/or sale of solar energy facilities
- Draft and negotiate cooperation or joint venture agreements with local partners.
" Manage outside law firms.
" Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company
" Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of legal issues
" Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents

Se requiere:

Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience at a reputable law firm or company, preferably in the construction or energy sectors.

Fluency in English including a demonstrated skill to draft and negotiate contracts in these languages; working knowledge of Italian and at least basic knowledge of Spanish or French a plus

Law degree from a leading university, post-graduate law degree a plus.

- Solid understanding of commercial issues and capacity to work under time pressure. Thoroughness and initiative
- Ability to operate sensitively in multicultural environment and develop effective working relations with colleagues and clients across office locations and time zones
- Excellent interpersonal skills
